Join Springsong Museum on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 9:30am–12:00pm for a guided forest bathing walk led by Melanie Choukas-Bradley. Nourish your sense of wonder during a May morning forest bathing walk in the Northwest Branch gorge adjacent to the Springsong Museum site. We will walk slowly and pause often as we explore the upland woods and streamside of cascading Northwest Branch.

The DC Environmental Film Festival presents Turning the Tide: Environmental Movement Building featuring films by The Nature Conservancy, Springsong Museum, and the Jane Goodall Institute.
With inspiration from environmental champions like Rachel Carson and the late Dr. Jane Goodall, this program features short films and conversation around historical efforts to build momentum in the environmental movement and how those lessons translate to today.
